Repo! is THE BEST. I love that soundtrack with my whole heart.

I think Repo! is a better movie than RHPS period, not just in terms of the songs. Rocky Horror is fun, but outside of the callouts and everything, it's just ... terrible.

Wait, is Rocky Horror SUPPOSED to be a good movie? I've always considered it one of the shining examples of "so bad it's good."

I love love love Repo. And I love love love RHPS.

But really, its like comparing apples and oranges. I'm not sure why everyone compares the two. Aside from the whole "horror rock opera" theme, they are two very different movies and both are excellent for different reasons.

Its OK to love them both! :D

Anthony Head seriously gave it his all, didn't he? That movie was kind of a hot mess, but man, he tried. And Terrance Zdunich's voice. Hnnngghhh.

& while RHPS holds a special place in my heart, I much prefer Repo (and it has one of my favorite ships, Shiloh/Graverobber).

Also, I suggest The Devils Carnival. It's sort of like the spiritual sequel to Repo.

I love both for different reasons. Repo! had more of a budget, big name actors and singers, and thus better quality music and singing. But Rocky Horror ... you just can't exactly compare the two, it's Rocky Horror.

I think that movie has one of the most original premises I've ever come across. I love the story. But I think the songs are HORRIBLE (like, cringe-inducingly horrible =/) and it really didn't help that only 2 people in the cast were at all capable of singing em.

Rocky was my first love, Repo is it's sexier darker brother. The music in Repo is much more singable for me, but I love both dearly.

Meeting Terrance Zdunich is one of my all time best moments.

Dude, as much as I love RHPS, Repo! had a much more coherent story and I actually FEEL about the characters.

Repo! was the better movie. But I love them both.
