Hi gals/guys,

For those of you who write Fanfic, where do you like to post it? I'd prefer a multi-fandom archive sort of thing where I can just post all fic, regardless of rating or whether it's gen/het/slash?

I already posting on fanfiction.net, but don't want that to be the only place.

I post to my LJ writing comm and AO3. Long, long, long ago, I tried ff.net, I think, but I hated it.

Sorry to butt in, but doesn't it like take months to get an invite for that?

Yeah, I joined up a while ago before it got so crazy. I have a couple invites, if you or the OP want one.

Unfortunately they've gotten a whole load of requests recently so people are on the waitlist until next year, and users can't give people invites either.
So right now it's pretty much impossible to get an account because everyone was jumping ship from FF to AO3.

I heard they were honoring already-issued invites, but not releasing new ones?

I hope they would honor already-issued invites, I just know they're not letting people invite anyone right now. It's really too bad because I found out about it after wanting to give someone an invite a week or two ago.

I've been keeping up with the comm on LJ, and it seems like that's what they're saying. I tried to request more and it just said that that features has currently been suspended.

If you have invite codes already you can still give them out - I've been doing so regularly (and still have a good few left, if anyone wants them). They just won't issue you with any more if you're out.

I'm on a waiting list. I applied a month or two ago and I'm set to get invited in 2013.

If anyone has an invite I just want to post some Avengers fic somewhere not ff.net XD

I'd say archiveofourown.org (AO3).

I only rarely post fic to FFN but I do respect that it's a gateway for a lot of people who don't come to the LJ/DW corner of fandom. Fandoms that are really quiet around here or on AO3 can still be happily ticking over on the Pit (and this is the cause of much Yuletide wank).

I use AO3 for most things, now. I don't like having fic on my personal journal so I tend to stick with fic communities for sharing stuff and then AO3 for backing up the ones that aren't total dreck.
