Don't worry, if you're gonna hate it, you're gonna hate it for being too cutesy, not too wangsty. But I don't see why you would unless you are either a cold-hearted bore or have no sense of humor or appreciation for crack, because the Charles/Erik fandom, and the XMFC fandom in general, can basically be summed up by this lengthy and glorious gif:
