OP, you likened your boyfriend to the Joker. You likened yourself to Harley Quinn. That, and if what you said about him is true, makes him mentally unstable. And dangerous.

I was in a relationship like that, once. If you can (and it's safe for you to do so, which, given the behaviour you described, I don't really thing it is), leave. Go back to your family, stay with (non-mutal) friends for a while, get a place after you've cut all ties with him. If there's more violent behaviour in his history you might be able to get the police to help you.

If you're frightened of your boyfriend you're not in love with him anymore. You tell yourself you still love him to protect yourself.

Please get away from him, OP.
