(Anonymous) 2012-07-13 12:25 am (UTC)(link)That doesn't make them any less dangerous, so like someone above me said, do think why you're still in this relationship, and seriously, seriously, consider what everyone else said about leaving and making yourself unreachable by him.
I have no point of reference myself, but I do believe what the people above me said about the whole thing being dangerous. I don't know this man and I don't know what his limits, self-restraints and world-view are. I don't know if he might decide that he doesn't love you or hold you as untouchable and sacred anymore. Or maybe he'll never stop treating you right.
But the problem is, even if he never hurts you and keeps respecting you forever, who's to say that acquaintances, friends or family members of you won't wind up hurt or dead? That does sound like the kind of thing that he might escalate to, if he already gets aggressive with people who, in his eyes, mistreated you.
Or even if he doesn't, who's to say that he won't wind up in jail or death? Or make you wind up in jail or death? You did say that he encourages risky behavior on your part, didn't you?
