When I was little for some reason when we played kick the can everyone had to be a Star Wars character and I was the only girl so they always tried to make me Amidala or Leia. I refused and always ran around beeping. So the boy with the longest hair always ended up being one of the princesses.

OH and when you got tagged you had to swap characters. Sometimes we crossed over with Star Trek and if the person tagged by Spock couldn't keep the fingers right they were chased around and spit on. We played weird games.

omg those are great anecdotes, especially you running around beeping XDXD. I always wanted to be Leia, luckily, so I was happy. It was just one friend of mine and me, though, and neither of us ever wanted to be Han.

The thing with our games, though, is that they never really went with the plot of Star Wars, and more was like Luke and Leia running around having adventures. At one point we found the fountain of youth or some major antidote to something, idk.

I was really committed to my early role playing. Even though no one understood my beeps I had actual sentence I was saying and made different beeps for yes and no and so forth. I'm really sad I never taught anyone my droid language now.

It's not too late! If you can't find a willing student, you can always build your own R2 unit and pass the language on to it ;)
