Chiming in with everyone else, you need to get out now. Not next week, not next month, but tomorrow, if it is at all possible. Wait until he is asleep or at work, so that you can get a head start. Pack a bag, get in the car, and drive until you can get somewhere safe, either with friends or family. Ditch the car if at all possible so he has no way to follow you.

If you don't, he will eventually hurt you. Not might, not could, he will. I have seen firsthand this kind of relationship before. She left him, a man who was all smiles and charm. It wasn't the charm that gave her a concussion. He followed her and she went back. He put her head through a wall. And then took the family puppy and threw it out of a car doing sixty on the freeway as "punishment" for her leaving in the first place. It took him threatening their children and her mother for her to finally get a wakeup call and leave him for good. Don't take that long.

You likened yourself to Harley Quinn. Remember what she said to Batman when he asked if she thought the Joker hurting people was funny? "It's just a joke." Remember his response? "Hope you're still laughing when it's your turn." Don't wait until that happens.
