Hi, meet me. I'm an asexual who doesn't go around saying ANY of that BS you're spewing. And you know what else? I make sex jokes too with my (non asexual) friends. And you know what, I know three other aces (and at least two aren't heteroromantic so stop with the shaming) who I can confidently say all are the same way.
Also, you're horrifically misinformed about asexuality if you think we go around slut shaming and go around saying how special we are. I'm pro-sex as long as it doesn't involve me. What you do is your business and like you said, it's something you do in private. No, everything DOESN'T have to be about sex, actually, but is it oppressive to hear your friend talk about their relationship with their partner? As long as it doesn't get into TMI territory -and it doesn't-, I don't have a problem with it.
Asexuals are invisible because nobody fucking knows we exist as 1% of the population. Some asexuals themselves don't know they exist as 1% of the population and (like I used to) think there was something wrong with themselves. Or are being told they need therapy because what they think they are doesn't exist. I'm sure going up to a lesbian NOW and telling her she needs therapy and medical help wouldn't do much more than highly offend them and maybe get you a broken jaw, but go back in time and they, for example, were dealing with that on a much more regular basis.
LGBT fight against being stereotyped and so do asexuals. LGBT fight against being told there's something wrong with you for being ~different and so do aces. There's just many many fewer aces than LGBT individuals and it's a newer concept, so our progress is slower.

You obviously have no grasp of what it's like to be actually oppressed if you think that it's about ~being different.
Asexuals aren't oppressed. Asexuals have special snowflake syndrome. They think it's somehow important that we know they don't have sex, and have to lecture people who don't understand it.
Having to explain your sexuality isn't oppression. There is no sexuality privilege that asexuals are barred from.
