Onew is so adorable. I always feel late to the SHINee train. When they were first debuting I was kind of out of the Kpop loop so I thought, "Oh well, my friends can like these young boys, not interested." But then a few months after "Lucifer" comes out, I'm like, "Um...what is this? I like it a lot," and I listened to all their music for a few months. AND THEN it wasn't until last week did I find out about "Sherlock" and damn it, I missed the crazy fangasming.

I guess I shouldn't be so uptight about being a noona. After all, the sole Kpop boyband I actively follow only has one member that is older than me, and that's not even by a lot. Noona loves Choshinsung! T~T

My little sister makes fun of me for being a Noona. My reply is always, "Noona is my MVP!". It's all in good fun and noonas are an important part of kpop fandom. If you don't want to be a creepy Noona just don't send anyone locks of your hair or something! :)

So you inspired me to go to my Kpop fandom involved friends and they're encouraging me stan NU'EST and Cross Gene with them now. I just wanted to say thank you for giving me that nudge to not be afraid of being a noona. You're right that noonas are important to Kpop. My friend said the noonas are always the best participants at concerts when she goes to them.

This made me so happy! Noona pride! :) Noonas were the ones who were patient and helpful when I was new to the fandom and I'm just excited to have that come full circle.

I've just sort of accepted that my involvement in K-Pop fandom is going to be flailing with RL friends about it, because I don't want to be a pedonoona on the internet. (this is the OP.) But NU'EST are so friggin' precious that I would love them even if they weren't tiny tiny adorable jailbait-boys, which comforts me significantly.

I also really appreciate the boys in bands who take steps to make their noona fans feel included. It comforts me.

So I looked them up and from what I have seen so far, I think they're pretty good dancers. And I agree; there's nothing much about Aron that I really like, and I seem to like Min Hyun and JR the most. My youngest brother is around their age. T~T I need to stop reminding myself that.

Aron really gets to shine in Action with the longer English-language rap, and his styling is a lot more flattering, but we are apparently brain twins. Minhyun and JR are my favourites.

My sister is 21, I've adopted a fall-back of "it's okay as long as they're no younger than I am younger than Orlando Bloom" which is the best fail!rationalization ever.

Aron's rapping is a bit funny to me, but I think it'll grow on me. I remember when I didn't like G-Dragon's raps but then a flip was switched. XD

I was really sad that the days of referring to my favorite kpop idols as Oppa were over. Then I realized I get to be Noona now and :D! Also I'm so just happy to see a Nu'est secret!

God I know the feeling. Not in Kpop, but some of my favorite JPop girls are REALLY young. The flawless Tamura Meimi, for example, is thirteen and I'm 21. I'm not attracted to her at all, but the fact I'm a huge fan of hers feels kind of weird sometimes, haha.

When the Face video came out I was all "Mrrrrrr JR Mmrrrrrrr OH GOD HE IS A CHILD" and thought that I had finally dealt with it.

... Nope. Then Action comes out, and suddenly everyone is 24/7 with the camera eyesex. And Minhyun's pants during their live stages? NOT HELPING EVEN A LITTLE BIT.

Have you seen the live stage where Baekho wears the mesh shirt? You can see his hip cuts! It does things to me!
