Korra messed up but she did show signs of trying to put some distance between herself and Mako, like when she told Mako to support Asami and when she left to go to bed when their talk got too romantic in the finale. The fact that Mako kept flirting despite that is irritating.

The thing that really irritates me about Korra is how little she cared about Asami's feelings during all this, but that's the writers fault for giving Korra no time to develop a relationship with the rest of the Krew outside of Mako.

That did bother me about Korra. =/ She should have pointed out to Mako that his advances were disrespectful to his actual current girlfriend and that she didn't want to be a part of treating her like shit, so plz clean up his mess before he starts a new one.

gawsh. I've said that to/about men irl before (and it applies to women too). It happens SO MUCH. If you have a maturity level over age 16, CLEAN UP YOUR FUCKING MESS. Don't start a new relationship before resolving the previous one.

Nah, part of the reason Mako makes me mad is because his behavior reminds me of my old boyfriend, and other people's boyfriends, too. That's what a lot of people defending him with the "confused teenage boyfriend" thing seem to not get, is that it freakin' hurts when someone you care about neglects you and never really apologizes directly for it. And my boyfriend was in his twenties when he acted like this! He couldn't hide behind be a teenager.

The fact that he never learned anything from that mess and the staff finds it acceptable because he's a "confused teenager" is something I can't accept, I don't even care if it makes me a whiny fan or w/e.

Oh, you're preaching to the choir here.

This reminds me so SO fucking much of my ex from last winter and the way he treated me. He made a lot of noise about how much he ~loved~ me (despite only being together for a few weeks) and how badly he wanted us to have a future together, and then blew me off. A month later he was dating someone else.

He didn't clean up his mess.

I'm still hurting from it.
