I didn't know he did travel documentaries! I'll have to check that out. I was watching marathoning Flying Circus last month, and this secret is making me want to go back to that really badly.

that's fine, anon! python isn't everybody's cup of tea, and his travel shows are excellent.

He's kind of one of my favourite people ever, for everything he does. But although I first encountered him through Python when I was a kid and love love love him in that, his travel stuff is my favourite and honestly changed my life. I wouldn't love travel as much or approach travel in the same way if it weren't for watching and reading about all his travels. He's perfect, I adore him ridiculously a lot.

I love watching documentaries, but I have yet to see a complete episode of Michael Palin's stuff, lol. Can anyone recommend a particular series? (I always end up watching Joanna Lumley's travel documentaries, though. It's not as packed with information compared to the docs I prefer to watch, but she can be quite funny/charming in her own way.)
