sadly, these days? he's right. the only interesting girls are the pretty girls and TV shows are ~useless~ without ~sex appeal~... if there's not something to fap to, people get bored. It's ridiculous. I don't think this applies to everyone but if you want the normal human consumer to watch something, you throw something they can look at and go "i like purty girls" and not force them to actually connect with a real character.

Yes, they are pretty girls, and I'm certain it is for the obvious external reasons, but they are also good characters. If you can't look past their ~*~blinding attractiveness~*~ and see their personalities then that's kinda your problem
