Power is more fun than anything. I'd be the worst overlord, because I'm selfish and spoiled and I'd want everything I was ever denied. I'd be awful, and I know it, but damn, I'd have fun.

I guess it has a lot to do with what you didn't have growing up. I had to work for everything I ever got so the idea of having things brought to me is more appealing than having power over people but I can see how that would be attractive to others.

Oh, I was never allowed anything fun as a child. I'd want all the things they never let me have. I'd crush everyone under my rule, because I'd have power, and I'm crazy like that. I'd want people to have to listen to me or else.

And this is why I should not be in power. I'd go mad with it like no one's business.
