Exactly, 100%. This is actually the reason why I do not leave comments on ANY communities anymore - because I'm so (completely rationally) terrified of getting dogpiled for something I said that was potentially problematic that I missed on my 239747th time reading through the comment to make sure that it could not possibly hurt or offend anybody.

But then once I actually got yelled at for posting a trigger warning at the beginning of a post by the same girl who originally incited a dogpile on me because I did NOT post a trigger warning on a comment I left. So, lesson learned. The answer is to just not post anything. n.n

Yea...sadly, I feel you. Even if you think your comment is perfectly fine and there's nothing in it that could potentially offend anyone, it can still happen. And some people REALLY reach for things to complain about. (Like your Tasmania comment. Wth?)

And there is seriously something wrong with that situation with the trigger warning. But I've seen it before where trying to warn someone for something turned into a mess because the words themselves were triggering to a person. There's only so much you can do to please people; you tried. Some people just aren't reasonable.
