They didn't package all their manga that way, and something being in a package doesn't always stop people from opening it. When I worked and Bed, Bath, and Beyond it was actually so bad that the managers actually told us to go over and literally take the next package away from them, tell them 'Let me help you with this Sir/Mame' and rip it open for them to try to *embarrass* them out of the behavior. [For the record, this was because we had several clients would ignore us when we asked them to stop and open every. Single. Package of whatever item they were interested in [like all of x color of sheet, that kind of thing]]
