There are a few fics (not really the superfamily trope, though) that has them acting as a family and not OOC. Usually it's that something happens to Aunt May (illness, attack, accident, etc) and she loses custody of Peter when he's already Spiderman and 16-ish. They're not really his parents, though, just his legal guardians (Tony usually pretends to have taken a shine to Peter at a science fair and be trying to recruit him. Steve signs the paperwork because Tony's a friend but no one trusts him with a kid, and voila! Secret identities saved!) Most of those are actually pretty well written, but they're rare, older, and I've forgotten where I even read them.

As for the kidfic... It's a guilty pleasure, similar to the discussion of Harlequins and other romance novels a few days ago. Sometimes I just want cavity inducing kidfic, and superfamily is right there, with its own label and everything! I'm aware it's OOC and trite and such, but sometimes that's just what I want.
