A friend and I buy Eighth Doctor books secondhand (for obvious reasons) and he actually had someone go apeshit on him about how you should NEVER EVER EVER BUY SECONDHAND EVEN IF IT'S OUT OF PRINT!!! because it's not fair to the author...

It was seriously one of the most bizarre displays of anger we'd ever seen. XD
