I don't think there's anything at all silly about this. It seems in your case this isn't just about the movie to you; it's an obvious sign that your life is changing and things will never be quite the same. It's perfectly normal for you to be sad about that!
Although I love these movies of their own right, I know each time I watch them I think about sitting in the theater with my family, all of us crying our eyes out because we're saps, and the excitement of discussing it afterward. Happy moments like that where you can bond with your family are very important, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I hope something changes and you get to watch the movies with them. If not OP, enjoy. (It's gonna be awesome!)
