To be honest, I kind of get this: they were so gay they kind of skirted on the edge of what I call The JD And Turk Zone: the area wherein the gay is laid on so heavily and is so out in the open that it loses all subtext and meaning and comes out the other side as totally straight.

I can't really "ship" them in the conventional sense, because not one single thing would change about their relationship if they were a couple vs not a couple. But that doesn't stop me from squeeing over how gay they are :)

Actually, the gay is laid on so thick because they were originally gay in the script. Then some exec went 'PEOPLE CAN'T HANDLE THAT! CHANGE IT!' So...the movie ended up having Chel thrown in, and the Turk and JD Zone came about. -shrugs-

Yeah, I think the reasoning goes "ok, these guys are acting so gay that the only possible explanation for why they're chasing that girl instead of being a couple themselves is that they're actually so straight they are incapable of being a gay couple".

I watched the clip this pic came from a few days ago. Now, whenever I see them together, I cannot unsee them banging it in front of his wife D:

Haha, that may just be it for me.
