:D I love chemistry jokes! Last year (my first year) me and a few other girls in the dorm had a geek joke battle where we surreptitiously posted sticky notes of nerd jokes on each other's doors.

My wackiest exploit though would probably be either the time I experimented to see if toy handcuffs would suspend in jello OR the time a friend and I tested to see whether microwave hair liquefied or sublimated and burned and broke a wasa cracker and a mug in the process.

Answer on the jello please! The only way I've ever gotten stuff to suspend is to set half the jello first, lay the item on top and pour liquid state jello over it and set it again.

Our college was renovating the dorms and was throwing out a ton of microwaves that were in too bad of a shape to donate so I and the only fun friend I had on campus picked them all up and took them out to a field to do "experiments" on with off campus friends. Halfway through we ran out of stuff to put in them so we started sticking fireworks in them, running them over with a pickup, and catapulting them.

That's definitely the best method, but not the one I used. My method just involved getting a bunch of red jello and putting it in tupperware and then literally just dropping some handcuffs from wal mart in xD The handcuffs weren't very dense, so it suspended no problem. If you're suspending something denser though like Tim did with a stapler in The Office then you'll want to use the method that you used.

I wish I had extra microwaves to explode with fireworks.

The smell was horrible. Though they smelled pretty bad to begin with tbh. One of them had what looked like a melted plastic plate glued to the bottom of the microwave. I have no idea how long you have to microwave a plate to get it to stick.
