If explicit scenes between them don't squick you out, also check out "Freefall"
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7387895/1/Freefall
They somehow get together without Voldemort compromising his position and Harry, well, to get into more details would be spoileriffic, but it surprised me how the author did it.
And the old good Tom/Harry ones I like the best:
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6592361/1/Words_Fail (time travel, very light on the angst and heavy on the characterization)
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5813358/1/A_Soulless_Solace (not time travel, but it's getting darker)
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5356546/1/Their_Verdict_of_Vagaries (time travel, scarily following canon, gets soul-clenching)
There is this one with a very unused twist in a very used premise: Voldemort returns back to his younger self to the timeline of Philosopher's Stone instead of Harry
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8225559/1/Twice_into_the_Abyss
It claims to be eventual HP/LV, but there have been zero hints of that as of yet (thankfully, considering the ages involved).
There is an annoying amount of typos, but the writing is generally good.
Re: ayrt
Thanks? Anon.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-18 03:26 am (UTC)(link)You can't escape.
This is a pretty rad community for recommendations.
Run.
You're welcome! :D
Re: ayrt
WeYou are a community of enablers.I haven't actually done the math but I'm pretty sure you guys make me significantly weirder.
Re: ayrt
I've read a good Hermione/Tom Riddle fic that might fit in here... I wish I could remember the title!
Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2012-07-18 06:18 am (UTC)(link)I've been trying to get into Hermione/Tom Riddle, and I've even found some interesting sounding fics, but no luck. I hope you find the fic again!

And I was going to rec something in return, but then I looked it up and the author is...Athey. Oops. I guess I'll just have to look through more of her stuff, then; I did really like what I read of hers, even if it isn't finished. Oh well. I have that problem too, ngl.
Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2012-07-18 08:35 pm (UTC)(link)Check out her yahoo group (it's in her profile) if you haven't already; she has some abandoned fics uploaded there that are entertaining. (If you are okay with reading abandoned fics, that is.)
Re: ayrt
(Anonymous) 2012-07-18 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)Wait, I just re-read your comment, you did say you are okay with abandoned fics.
Re: ayrt
Yes! I mean, I prefer it if they're finished, but I'm rarely heartbroken when one isn't. I have a serious problem finishing my fics too, so I get it.
If the writing's good enough, I don't care. :)
