Re: What book should I read next, fs?

I have Night Circus on my list already! It looks fascinating to me. Thanks for reminding me!!!

My husband has read the Dresden books, but I don't think we own them. :(

I've been wondering about the Naomi Novik series; is it really military focused? I find myself getting really bored with battle scenes in books.

It's more about strategy and culture than a lot of battling. Mostly, what it is is introducing talking dragons into a known period of history and seeing what impact it has on the times. And there's some humor in it, as well.

Okay, cool. That sounds up my alley. I love world building. And dragons are cool. :)

I will warn you on Night Cirus. it jumps around to different time periods. A lot. It can get a little whiplashy. Oh, and...the ending is just, so annoying.

I understand you love someone with the power of a thousand suns, and they're so perfect for you, blahblah, but why on earth would you want to exist in another universe FOREVER with only that one other person. Forever. No one else. That would drive me crazy. Ah well.

Ahahahahahha. I totally read the spoiler. That would probably drive me crazy too.
