Mmm, the main difference I make between violence and rape is that society still takes rape less seriously. :\ No one gets blamed for getting mugged, yet court cases are thrown out when the victim is known to be sexually active. It is, of course, incredibly subjective, but that's why I can't laugh off rape jokes as easily.
