Using phrases like "I want to rape Character X" or "they're raping my fandom," to me, belittles the trauma and pain of actually being raped. There's no way that usage of the word can actually compare. People need to think - that word can bring up a lot of crap for a lot of people and seeing it tossed about so loosely just makes me angry.
