I loved it, though I really wasn't fond of how unintelligible Bane was. It was a little slow in the middle, but that didn't bother me too much, since the rest was pretty fast paced. Catwoman was my biggest worry going in, but I was really impressed with Anne Hathaway! The end part with JGL was so awesome! I saw it at midnight and the entire theatre was freaking out when his full name was read. I'm going to go see it again, hopefully soon!

OMFG. I am still squeeing over JGL at the end. I mean I'm pretty sure we were all REALLY hoping that would happen, but it was SO great to see it play out just right.

Mine three! And then I got to epic facepalm at myself for finally starting to ship it.

seriously, the way he just walks into Bruce's house and unpicks his head and tells him all about his fanboy crush, unf ;__; and then their reunion later was such a JUST KISS HIM ALREADY moment, at least as much so as the Batman/Catwoman one a few minutes later that actually happened.

Hey, this is Robin we're talking about.
The age gap could have been much, MUCH worse.

I was kind of shipping it during the movie, but I'm a Batman/Catwoman fan so I wasn't really focusing on it. When I see it again I want to keep it in mind, though, since I want to ship all of the things.

I didn't read any spoilers or speculation about his character, so I didn't even start thinking about that possibility until he was talking about growing up in the boy's home. When it happened at the end it was so amazing! After Nolan and Bale talking about how much they didn't want to do Robin, I'm glad they gave us something at the end!

Yeah, same! It felt like Nolan was trying to reinvent the idea of a Robin, and because of the Nolanverse's tendency to crush intimacy wherever it arises it seemed natural to have him become Robin/become the Bat's apprentice only after Bruce was gone. There's all that potential for intimacy between them but Nolan didn't make it happen. I really want fic about Bruce hearing about what he's getting up to and secretly coming back ~~for sex~~, maybe stalking him for a while before revealing himself. JGL what are you doing to me ;_;

IA - Hathaway was amazing, though it was a bit surprising to look back at the movie at the end and realise that she'd been easily the most lighthearted thread in it. I really liked how so many fight scenes had her in the foreground and Bale in the background, but I figure the Batman passing out of the spotlight was the main theme here.

Same here. I really loved how she did the fight scenes. She looked so cool! It was good that they kept her serious, but still playful and sexy like Catwoman should be.

The unrepentant violence was pretty cool, too. 'LOL U NEED TO RECONSIDER THIS NO GUNS THING'

Selina Kyle was one of my favorite parts of the movie. As she just got more awesome, all I could think was, "This is addressed to all you bastards who thought she'd be shit and wasn't sexy enough. Suck it, nonbelievers!"
