He's the only kitten I've ever been fond of. He was such a weirdo. I rescued him and his siblings from a cardboard box that had been abandoned in a culvert during a flood, he'd been abused and had trust issues and I was the only person he ever bonded with. We only kept him and his snooty brother (who couldn't get adopted because he had problems with his back legs) out of the litter.
I'm just glad you featured older kitties as those have always been the ones I like best, probably because my family only ever brought home older cats about to be euthanized. My family was in the habit of adopting pets from people who had to move into the local nursing home. We would bring them by once a week so they could see their owners again and it makes me cry thinking about the obvious love there.
Sorry for the TL;DR but you gave me all these feels!
