The Fear 2 thing is NOT the same thing.

That is Alma taking deserved venagance against the men that harmed and abused her for all her life.
That is about empowering a victim.

The Lara thing is about fetishizing abuse and punishing a woman for daring to be a woman in an adventure game.
It's about pandering to men that want to see her raped for making them realize how inadequet they are.

If you /Really/ think it's the same you need to grow up and live in the real world for a while.

I... disagree. Not about rape scenes in F.E.A.R. 2 and Tomb Raider being completely, utterly different in just about every way possible - obviously, based on my comment above, I couldn't agree more. But this:

Just isn't true. Her killing her father and the other Armacham scientists? Yes, absolutely, that's revenge. But Becket himself didn't do anything to her. He doesn't work for Armacham. They've never even met. He's just as much a victim in this context as she is. There is no justification for what she did to Becket whatsoever.

...But then the woobification of Alma in the F.E.A.R. fandom is another rant, for another time >>
