Just gonna be honest, I sucked balls at combat in Morrowind. I tried the game and got nowhere; it was a massive failstorm. I sold it pretty soon after that. Oblivion felt much more accessible for me.

anon you're replying to: I really hated the combat and I was seriously considering dropping the game at first! When I encountered my first enemy I was all "what is this, what am I doing, what the fuck I was killed by a worm?". Maybe it was because I was used to action RPGs, idk, later I have gotten used to the combat but argh, fighting in Morrowind was always such a chore.

Lmao, same (except I didn't keep going till I got acclimatized...suppose I should've)!

I think my first enemy was similar to a giant bee. I remember spending way too long exploring the area and trying to make it to an inn and getting killed repeatedly on the way. What a dick those things were.

Then when I finally got to a town I didn't know where the hell to go and I was so low level almost everything killed me instantly. I was more persistent with the other games though, and it paid off.
