Re: Trying to get into a comic series

Just I would like to buy them and I love having completed sets and it's going to drive me nuts if towards the end it overlaps with some other characters story that I would need for the conclusion (and so on and so forth. Kind of like the beginning is so blurry at times.)
I was going to ask more when I noticed there is a hardcover version. Hardcovers of anything are my one true love in life. Will that ve all the issues?
Sorry for the question game. I'm just so confused by the comics and universes and story overlap. I don't want to read everything, just this one batwoman I've read about/seen gorgeous art of. (which appears to be this so lots of thanks! I'm sure I can buy it from the store or get it ordered in)
