If it makes you feel better, I read somewhere that recent findings seem to indicate that dinosaurs were covered in brightly colored feathers and probably squawked instead of roaring. (Which, again, makes the movie no less terrifying, but hey, might be helpful if you decide to pursue archaeology...)
