OP, when I was your age, I temped. Assuming you're in the US (and I imagine there are probably these agencies in other countries, too), look in the phone book or online for temporary employment/staffing agencies in your area. You can obviously use a computer, so if you know office applications (Word, Excel and whatnot) all you'll have to do is go into the agency, sign up and take a test, and they'll look for work for you. It probably won't be steady at first but you can get long-term assignments and sometimes even benefits if you work full-time. One of my temp assignments turned into a job I'm still with 15 years later! IME it's a good option for people who don't enjoy/aren't good at the classic mode of job searching.

I'm not sure how things are in OP's area right now but last time I was looking into temp agencies, all but one of the ones I tried simply refused to take my resume & look for work for me because of my lack of prior work experience, in spite of me doing really well on their computing & typing tests. The one that did then gave me the most horrifically humiliating treatment I've ever had in my working life, so hey.

One thing I really remember from that time is having a conversation about my job search with two much older people. One of them said 'oh, you just need to go to [this agency], they'll definitely help you out' and I told her that I'd already done so, twice, and they wouldn't even accept my resume. She just looked at me like she didn't believe me.

It can be a great way to get work, sure, but it's also possible that OP has already tried this route and hit that same brick wall.
