What series? The SD games were cancelled after 2 and 3. Yeah they had the remake of Final Fantasy Legend as Legend of Mana, but that's like on par with Earthbound Zero.

the fuck are you talking about? LoM isn't a remake of anything.

It's also a lot better than its predecessors, ESPECIALLY SoM, which did not age well at all.

My bad. I was thinking of Sword of Mana. They all mix up as bad, so it's hard to keep straight the individual awfulness.

But yes and no. Everything past 3 is just lame. LoM is alright, but barely memorable and enjoyable, and not worth the time imo. However the SNES/Famicom ones do test a lot of patience now, not to mention that junk like mode 7 always and especially looks terrible. Still the only good and remarkable ines though.
