They tempted Sailor Moon away from her journey (or at least Lethe did) by making her forget her friends and goals while crossing the river to Shadow Galactica. But Lethe and Mnemosyne really just wanted the war to stop and to be together-- Lethe thought this could be done by killing Sailor Moon but Mnymosyne hated the perpetual violence -- and eventually they were killed by Phi and Chi for turning away from Galaxia's goals.
