Don't give up! I got my first job at 25. It sucks, truly, putting yourself out there for work and not finding anything... and then feeling like why should you bother, when all you get is rejection. Eventually, though, something will come through, even if it's not something that you saw yourself doing before.

My fandom friends were always rather supportive of me looking for work and not finding it. They gave tips when I asked, and were there to squee with me over fandom when I didn't want to talk about it anymore.

It's scary. But you can do it!
