I had it as a kid, mistakenly gave it away (I was going through some weird kiddy religious phase where I thought books about goddesses were "pagan" which at the time was very bad to me -- my Mom kind of rolled her eyes until I was over it), but tracked it down again as an adult. It;s a really gorgeous book. There's even a tarot deck with the illustrations.

Hey, I have that book and I didn't get the tarot deck! Oh, wait, you mean they were *also* used in a tarot deck, not that the book came with a tarot deck... I felt very cheated for about a second there.

The font is no problem but the huge gap in the text makes it very very hard to follow the sentence when you have one word on one side and one word on the other side.

I'm in my early twenties. While I've tried out the whole ma-sterbation [sic] thing, it never really was particularly interesting for me. But for the first time in my life I feel... inspired into certain kinds of feelings. There's this one guy, in this one band, who I just find more attractive in almost all ways than any person before (real or fictional).
