I'm sorry OP, I caught some stuff including bumble-bee (ARE YOU INTO TRANSFORMERS?) but that font is next to impossible to read.

IA. I can hardly understand what's going on in this secret due to the font. D:

The gap of text isn't helping either. Not blaming OP...I mean, creating interesting looking secrets can be hard, but...yeaaaa.

Yeah, that gap made it a million times worse. Better luck next time, OP! (Although the image used is nice!)

Oh, I agree. Very pretty!

Just here to say that I own the book that picture's from, and boy is it gorgeous.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-24 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
asdmhbnjdng don't just say that and then not tell us the title of the book! D:

Re: MAGIC GIRL ANON are you still here?

Here ya go:

The Book of Goddesses: A Celebration of the Divine Feminine
by Kris Waldherr
http://www.amazon.com/The-Book-Goddesses-Kris-Waldherr/dp/1885223307/ref=la_B001H6SMYM_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1343100043&sr=1-5

I had it as a kid, mistakenly gave it away (I was going through some weird kiddy religious phase where I thought books about goddesses were "pagan" which at the time was very bad to me -- my Mom kind of rolled her eyes until I was over it), but tracked it down again as an adult. It;s a really gorgeous book. There's even a tarot deck with the illustrations.

Hey, I have that book and I didn't get the tarot deck! Oh, wait, you mean they were *also* used in a tarot deck, not that the book came with a tarot deck... I felt very cheated for about a second there.

How awkward can it be if you're by yourself in the dark? Just try before you go to sleep, like millions of other women around the world. Getting yourself off is a very low investment activity.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-23 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
The font is no problem but the huge gap in the text makes it very very hard to follow the sentence when you have one word on one side and one word on the other side.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-23 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe try making up an entirely fictional dude who happens to look a but like this guy and have the same qualities that turn you on? That's generally what I do.

Gurl

just do it

let go of your inhibitions; if fantasizing about a real person helps you orgasm, then go for it

the point is to get off

fantasies don't have to make sense, because they're fantasies, not reality; they don't mean anything unless you want them to

orgasm alert

now go forth and polish your pearl

Oh, so that's what the secret is about. Okay.

I can sorta understand your unease OP (different people get skeeved out by different things), but maybe you can try what the above anon suggested (with the fictional dude)?

Hahaha this. Good luck, OP. "Wilting Victorian heroine"... teehee but also awww. Just go for it.

I'm in my early twenties. While I've tried out the whole ma-sterbation [sic] thing, it never really was particularly interesting for me. But for the first time in my life I feel... inspired into certain kinds of feelings. There's this one guy, in this one band, who I just find more attractive in almost all ways than any person before (real or fictional). He's tall, beautiful and has the most magnificent deep voice (he sounds a bit like a bumble-bee [sic]). While it's a pretty amazing feeling, I admit, it's also just soooo [sic] awkward. Whlie [sic] I have no negative feelings connected to using real people as... in-spiration, the idea of act-ually [sic] fanta-sizing [sic] about a real person that way... I find it com-pletely [sic] para-lyzing [sic]. I kind of want to try, but I'm just not sure I could make myself even start to see if I could. I don't even know why I have this problem. Maybe I'm just a wilting Victorian Heroine.

Picture only vaguely related. It's Venus/Aphrodite who signifies The Lovers in the Goddess Tarot.

I feel like fandom conditioned me to feel weird about not just getting off to real people, but getting off to real people that I knew in my normal life. So I get you, OP- but I promise that you'll probably feel much better once you just do the darn thing, cause it's not like they'll know.
