There isn't a connection. Porn uses a lot of otherwise innocuous words in dirty ways, and those who've heard them used in those contexts generally can't unhear them, which often leads to giggles at these otherwise innocent words even when used in an innocent context. At least, that's my hypothesis.

Uh...there is definitely a connection. They both come from the word squirt and retain the same basic meaning: to forcefully expel liquid from a narrow opening. One comes from urination; the other from ejaculation. Same concept and definitely the same origin.

There is...but it's more like the kid meaning and the sex meaning are cousins.

The logic is this:
1. Squirt means to eject liquid through a narrow opening.
2a. Infants urinate unexpectedly. Male urination is particularly known to squirt upwards when a child is lying on his back, though females can do this, too. A child young enough to need a diaper change or who urinates unexpectedly is thus a squirt.
2b. Female ejaculation, under certain circumstances, can cause a small jet of liquid to be forcefully ejected from a woman's genitals. This is quite clearly a squirt and so gets the name.

Basically, it's taking the same original meaning and extending it slightly without a or b relying on the meaning of the other. Squirt almost definitely has the a meaning in Finding Nemo.

Can I just say for the record that "squirt" is a really gross-sounding word? Just...the way it sounds. It's like "moist." Try saying "moist cake" aloud slowly and tell you don't get just a little bit heeby-jeebied.

Same. When I used to play World of Warcraft I would sometimes pretend to mistell 'moist' into our raid or group chat just to get a rise out of people. Just a gross sounding word.
