I've somehow managed to avoid hearing this song (other than a friend texting me the lyrics) so I can't comment on it but...does it really matter? Everyone has kinks and if this song was the thing that made you realize you had more than expected...who cares? Enjoy your new kinks anon.

Kinks you never knew you had?

I mean, great for you I suppose, but I didn't really see anything that ground-breaking in the video. Your average S&M fic is kinkier than that. To me it always seemed she depicted a pretty tame, polished-up verson of kink that could still appeal to he greater public. But whatever floats your boat, ya know.

I liked the video for kind of depicting the symbiotic sadomasochistic relationship between celebrities and paparazzi in an interesting was, but on a kink level, it's pretty tame.

I agree it was pretty tame. Despite all the censoring the video because it's so scandalous (I find this so questionable. Lots of sexual videos go uncensored, and you don't have to be 18 to view them on Youtube, why this one?)
However, I was pretty surprised about the puppy play featured in the video. Not because it was graphic or anything, I just did not expect to see that! So I was pleasantly surprised by that.

I like the song, but the VIDEO. The video is the only music video in the history of videos to turn me on, in a really unexpected part (the part where Rihanna comes out of her house with a man acting like a dog who cocks his leg on a lamp-post. I WISH I COULD EVEN EXPLAIN)

If it helped you discover kinks that make you happy, that's ok. It's silly and overblown, yes, but it led to something good. Like bad pop songs creating hilarious covers, or leading to cover bands getting discovered.
