This secret teared me up.

I think Cap would do all of those things for you anon, and I can somewhat sympathize with your reasons for liking him. He's a good guy, and would be a fantastic, caring friend. But I think Cap would also tell you that no matter your situation, there is always someone out there with the ability to care about you; you just have to find them. It isn't always easy and it might not happen quickly, but if that's what you want...it's worth the trouble imo.

This is so terrible sweet. You know, even if he's not real, doesn't mean he can't take the role of that friend if you need him!

This...is actually really sweet, and probably the only thing I've actually seen that makes me *want* to watch any of the Avenger's movies.

That said, hey...as long as it gets you through the day, right?

I want to hug you and bake you cookies anon. Seriously, if people can have the WW_D?, why can't you have this. If it gets you through, more power to you. : )

I think it's great that you found a way to help yourself feel better. And I'm sure you will find the friend that does all this for you one day!

Anon, I have a Captain America figurine (those tiny ones that came out, with the big heads) glued to my dashboard, like a hula dancer. He's there because, weirdly enough, I feel like with Cap in the car, I drive safer and more courteously, because for serious, Cap would let the poor guy merge and Cap wouldn't try to make it through the yellow light.

So, you're not the only one letting him influence your life. He really would be the best friend you ever could have.

Aww. This one's really sweet.

He was my favourite too, because he's really such a good guy, and it's not an act. I can get why you'd like him, and I can see that happening. And there are people out there who are that supportive, albeit minus the super-serum. I hope you find one of them.

Captain America was my favorite too, and for the reason that he probably would be that way with his friends, or to people in general. :')

The best thing is that that's exactly what Cap would do. Cause he's just that great of a guy. Man, I love Cap so much <3

i didn't find him sexually appealing, but i still loved his character. he's adorable and wholesome and good and the kind of person you can always count on. so much <3

Cap's the best! This is so sweet, he'd definitely help you. I hate when people accuse him of being 'boring'--he might not be as flashy like other characters, but he's loyal, brave, actually really funny, and a truly great 'person' (since he is, unfortunately, fictional). Basically, Cap's my favorite, and I'm glad you've found him to be a helpful force<3

That's a beautiful thought, but there are people out there with wonderful traits like Cap's. Very few people have all the good traits Cap does, but they do have them. And they can care about you too, and that's really worth something.

I totally get it. I may have an ENORMOUS MASSIVE crush on Chris Evans, but when it comes to Cap? I really just want him to be the big brother I never had.

He seems like he'd make a loyal, good-hearted friend.

His personality is what makes him most attractive, especially since Chris Evans is kinda douchey on his own.

I used to do the same thing (though not with Cap). It really helped me through the pain. I just want you to know you are not alone. I was lucky enough to find someone in RL that does all that for me, so just know that it can get better. If Cap is what gets you through the pain, then that's all that matters because the comfort you get is real.
