we don't need to know the whole backstory, just the gist of it

write your secret, re-read it, cut away excess, rephrase to say the same thing with less words, etc.

don't they teach this stuff at school

I'm not into RPS, some of it is YKINMK, some of it creeps me out. But certain people's contributions to fanservice give me the feels. So what I do about it? (Other than revelling [sic] in my inappropriate noona feels)

I come up with fictional characters that look like they do (and are inspired by) and get them to hook up. His [the guy on the left?] name is So-Yun. He's a bit of a shut in. (Mostly because when he gets upset he bursts into flames) He [the one on the right? TBH both words look like they're the same shade of brown :-/] is Yang-Yu, the nephew of So-Yun's only friend. Yang-Yu was raised by his uncle and grew up knowing So-Yun (by the way, all these people stop aging at 17-26 or so) When Yang-Yu was about 12, he decided that So-Yun was going to be his. So-Yun was mostly baffled by this, not being in the habit of finding boys attractive. But once Yang-Yu comes of age they start to explore a relationship together. It starts out slow, but slowly builds into a love based on trust and respect. (Though that doesn't necessarily come before other... things.)

S!B I don't think this is fooling anyone into thinking that I don't just think Baekyoel is really sexy. Damn their faces.

I don't like RPF so I make up fictional people who look like real people and give them fantasy backstories so I can feel better about shipping them and writing fic.

Really, you should translate the gist of the secret on some of these, because, come on. This one was ridiculous. If we wanted a novel we would have opened a book.

Translation takes brain power. I do enough of that on a daily basis already. Someone else can take up that mantel.

BTW, thanks for reminding me of the unread Clint/Coulson novels fics in my bookmarks. See you in a few hours ;)

lol. I'm working on some novel length fics of my own. I should have said '... we would have pulled up a 100k word fic.'
