I try really hard not to speculate about idols' for real sexuality, because it seems so incredibly intrusive, but it's sometimes really hard not to speculate about Siwon. Everything in this secret is something I've thought at least once before today.

Okay, so I'm not a shipper. RPF creeps me out. I like fanservice just as much as the next fan, but I am under no impression that it's anything more than close friends or a performance. And then there's Siwon (and Heechul, but everyone knows he's fab). Everything about him just screams sad, closeted guy to me. He could be bi, I don't know, but the look on his face and his body language when he takes part in fanservice is completely different than when straight dudes do it. I didn't really think much about it, just perved inappropriately about this <== but then I was looking at other pictures of Siwon and Heechul (or Leeteuk) together and it's... really obvious that they are, or were, really close. There's cordial working relationship fanservice, and then there's the stuff that only actual serious friends do together. But then with what Siwon said in that one interview (which honestly sounds more like a [sic] over reaction than simple macho posturing) and Heechul's tweet about Siwon's evangelizing, I just feel really sad for Siwon. I'm from the South and I am so used to seeing self-loathing closeted Xtian boys and the self-hatred they live day-to-day. It's so hard for them to keep relationships healthy. He's only 28, and I just hope that if he is, that he can come to peace with himself.

I try not to be all so-and-so idol is obviously gay omg, but I have had all of these feels about Siwon~ :( That said, he seems like the kind of guy who could come to terms with it if so.

I like all the kpop secrets lately, but I'm a little annoyed by this one. Just because Siwon is homophobic doesn't mean he's in the closet. And the skinship is not uncommon for a)Korean guys and/or b)Korean bandmates.

Word. Pretty obvious, statistically speaking, that some kpop idols will be closeted but kind of fruitless to speculate who, based on their incredibly considered public behaviour.

Oh, how sick I am of the secrets that appear every other day and go along the lines of: "I don't like RPF, it creeps me out, I detest it with all my might - BUT..."

Just stop with the hypocrisy already, would you? Wringing your hands and posing as a repentant sinner doesn't earn you any points. Or somehow make you a better person compared to the rest of us, for that matter.
