Possibly!

But, for example, a summary I came across:

Ayanna Potter is the girl who lived.

Oh, girl!Harry! I like those stories.

Also she is Dumbledores Golden Girl, or so he thought.

...Wait, those don't tend to end well.

She messed up all his plans by going to slytherin, and is feeling sympathy for voldemort.

...Okay, that could have potential, but that's just too blunt for a summary.

That doesn't even really sound like a particularly good idea. Just some old clichés mashed together into bad fic.

The girl!Harry who finds Voldemort's side seductive after being sorted into Slytherin (maybe Hagrid didn't pick her up and she never met Malfoy and Ron before going the sorting or something who knows) could be done interestingly, especially if the author used it to contrast with the choices and events in the books.

I personally would love to see Harry or girl!Harry deflecting to Voldemort's side and then regretting it once he/she realized how Voldemort is simply that skilled a manipulator and that he/she had been played for a fool.
