(Anonymous) 2012-07-27 03:35 am (UTC)(link)Contraception has been brought up elsewhere in this thread, and that's the issue I can't fathom both sides not vehemently agreeing on, the only way to turn that choice between two evils into no need to MAKE that choice.

(Anonymous) 2012-07-27 01:37 pm (UTC)(link)It's because a lot of people on the anti-choice side are not actually invested in "saving babies" -- they want to punish women for having sex. Contraception allows "loose" women to escape the "consequences of their actions." That's why they don't support it, because being able to prevent pregnancy will "encourage immoral behavior." That's genuinely the argument that a lot of anti-choicers make.
