When the Olympics posted a photo of Wenlock and Mandeville hugging, someone shouted "Wendville!" in the comments. My first thought? "Dear God, please don't tell me you actually ship them."

Shipping the mascots had not occured to me, but now that you've mentioned it, I'm thinking "how would that even work?"

How would they have sex? They are molten drops of steel, so would they merge into each other? Would they need a furnace to get it on? Presumably their camera cyclops eyes would be capturing the whole event, so they couldn't have sex without making porn.

Gah! Silly internet prompting me to be curious about the sex lives of mascots.
