I WANT TOPH TO HAVE BEEN A SINGLE MOTHER BY CHOICE.

Because the idea of her and a guy arranging several one-night stands until she's pregnant, and the guy accidentally, but inevitably, falling for her makes me laugh. I wanna keep my heart breaker Toph headcanon.

but seeing as it's a kids show it might not happen :( BUT STILL if they never reveal Lin's father's identity then this might remain headcanon :D

Personally, in my headcanon, she is. Either Lin's father died when she was very young, or Toph just said "I don't need you." and went to Republic City.


Though I still think she earthbended Lin from the ground.
