Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).

August:
Bourne Legacy and Expendables 2.
I legitimately liked the first Expendables, and I admit that I can't name the first three or four Bourne movies, so clearly I'm not seeing it for the plot.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3 - I love the books!

September:
Hotel Transylvania - What can I say, it looks okay.

NOVEMBER:
Life of Pi - I forgot all about it and was pleasantly surprised to see that they actually did not cast a white person to play someone clearly from India.

Wreck it Ralph - I saw the concept art and just wrote it off. Then I saw the trailer and ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT!

Rise of The Guardians - even if I have a sneaking fear of Jack Frost/Pitch getting the Fandom Darling Treatment.

Yup. The Hobbit is the only movie left this year that I'm really excited about. Everything else I was waiting for came out this summer (so many awesome movies this summer, best summer in at least several years).

None of my friends are fans of either Doctor Who or Tolkein, but, thanks to my squeeing, they all now know that The Hobbit has the Seventh Doctor in.

Agreed about The Bourne Legacy and Expendables 2.

You forgot December:

Les Miserables - The most beautiful musical I've ever seen onstage. They better get it right onscreen.

The Hobbit - I just really want to go back to Middle-Earth and feel like a mesmerized 12-year-old again. And it looks utterly fantastic.

I have both the novel and the graphic novel of the Hobbit and only halfway finished the latter...I should get on that.

I go to the cinema extremely rarely, but I'm definitely seeing Expendables 2 ASAP! I just hope I'll be able to finish that fic I started writing ages ago, first (before new canon comes along and screws it up).

I plan on going to Hotel Transylvia, Wreck It Ralph, and Rise of the Guardians too, but I also want to see ParaNorman next month. Stop-motion animation + zombies + horror/comedy movie? COOL!

i'm bouncing on the edge of my seat waiting for the hobbit to come out -- i was at the movies yesterday and was rapt watching the trailer!!

other than that, i'd like to see moonrise kingdom (which i know is already out) and les mis (i adore the musical, and hope the movie is good too). i don't really watch things at the theater that often, so while there are some other good things coming out in the next year or so, i'll probably wait until they're on dvd/netflix to watch them.

Skyfall.

I was brought up on Bond, but somehow this is the first Bond film I'll have seen on the big screen. And it's in IMAX!

Really not fussed about The Hobbit. I have no doubt it will be stunning to look at, well made and fantastic for fans. But I'm just not interested, I read the book when I was in my teens and didn't really like it then either. ~special snowflake~
