Does anyone else hate Facebook but can't seem to quit it? Why do you talk yourself out of deleting it?

I don't hate it, but don't love it either. I wouldn't leave though because pretty much EVERYONE I know is on it... including people that USED to be on LJ and the like but stopped posting there and are now ONLY on FB.

I'd replace it with G+ but I kind of hate it.

I prefer G+, but none of my friends use. Then again, I feel like I like G+ just because it's not Facebook.

Because all my RL peeps moved from LJ to FB and now the only way to keep up with their lives is to read FB. Yes, we do see each other in person, but not always.

I want to delete it sometimes but it's also the best way to get in contact with friends and set up events. I don't even use it for pictures/wall posts anymore.

I'm connected to family through it. I'm having conversations with cousins that I never used to have before.

I love that it connects me to old friends, so I won't delete it, but dammit do I hate what they did to the interface.

I run a page there and I like some of the not-annoying friends I keep in contact with there.

I keep going there for the games. And the games fucking SUCK because it's just clicking a goddamn button again and again! Rarr!

Facebook automatically forced me into Timeline last night so I'm about as annoyed with it as you are. It wouldn't suck so much if it wasn't for the layout... what is that zigzag bullshit? my eyes have no idea where to go half the time! it's chaotic, unorganized bullshit. if they fixed that zigzagging crap I might not hate it as much.

I actually don't care either way. I liked the Wall format a little more for showing my activity on other pages, but the timeline allows me a little more flexibilty with photos. It really doesn't matter to me.

I thought I would hate it, but I really love being able to amuse/embarrass myself by saying "I wonder what I updated my status about this time five years ago!" and being able to easily find it.

...I like timeline. *was one of the few people who chose to switch over instead of being forced*

Although I was like "wtf is this shit" when it first started popping up way back when.

I wouldn't hate it so much if Facebook didn't keep messing with the settings without TELLING us.

I don't have Facebook and I never plan on getting it. I don't trust Facebook with a single piece of my personal information, and to be honest, I don't understand why anyone does. They've proven time and again that the only care about their users as a commodity. Do other people not find it creepy that Facebook is using your name and face to sell products to your friends? Or that they're tracking your every move on the internet to sell you products? As far as I'm concerned, Facebook is a two-faced monster. They say they're about keeping in touch with other people, but the only thing they care about is the money they can wring out by selling their users as advertisement fodder to the highest bidder.
