Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.
Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.
That's about it, though!
I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff.

Re: JRPG recs?
(Anonymous) 2012-07-29 06:53 pm (UTC)(link)If you're strict about turn-based JRPGs, then FF1 and 2 may be suitable if you haven't played them already. There's a GBA port, if you have the system from Golden Sun anyway. For the PS2 there's FFX and some Suikoden games off the top of my head.
If you don't mind tactical RPGs, then Final Fantasy Tactics, FFTAdvance and FFTA2 are good and are turn based too, or Suikoden Tactics on the PS2. Hoshigami's another tactical RPG on the DS which, while not a great game (or even a good game)is really easy to power level and get good weapons quickly, so it can be relaxing.
I used to be strict about turn based gameplay too, but if you're willing to go for something between action and turn-based Xenoblade on the Wii is a really good game, and you only have to worry about controlling your main party member.
