Some ground rules:

School's out for summer and all that

I always get so sad when fandom dies/slows from May - August. I mean, I get that most people do fandom to avoid school work or as stress relief and don't want to spend the nice weather inside, but I can't be the only one who looked forward to more time for fandom when I was in school!

(Obviously I'm talking western fandoms, here. I'm sure it's different for other ones.)

I noticed this. When I was in an anime fandom it was still the same too though. I guess people are on vacation and going to cons and things though.

I live in the southern hemisphere and I love that the series holidays are during my school year, there is no way I could keep up with them otherwise.
