Yep. Six Million-Dollar Man, and Bionic Woman, followed by 2nd-run TOS Trek. By the time the late 70s/early 80s rolled around, we even had a colour TV to watch it on!

Then when I hit puberty, I found the SFF books from the '70s. And read obsessively through any/every thing even remotely cyberpunk, as well as those endless potato chips of no substance but addiction-worthy Simon&Schuster Pocket Books. Which didn't hold a candle to the OTHER books I was reading at the same time, but that was literally published fanfiction, before the advent of the Internet.
