It's only a little ridiculous. Part ridiculous part honest curiosity.

But honestly you don't have to experience something to write about it. Otherwise we wouldn't have fantasy and scifi novels or...a whole hell of a lot of stories.

People don't have to go out and kill people to write books about murder. Not that I'm comparing sex to murder, but it is possible to write about things you've never done.
